EU/EEA & UK Consumers — Statutory Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal that takes precedence over the terms below. Within that period we refund the full price plus standard outbound delivery, to your original payment method, with no payment-processing fee, no restocking fee and no cancellation fee. You pay only the direct cost of returning the goods. See our Right of Withdrawal for full details and the model form. The deductions described below apply to returns outside that statutory right — our voluntary 30-day return, non-EU buyers, or returns after the 14-day window.

Returns & Exchanges Policy

Eligibility & Window

  • Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery.
  • Items should be returned with all parts and documentation. For our voluntary 30-day return, items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging. EU/EEA/UK consumers exercising the statutory 14-day withdrawal may inspect and test the goods as they would in a shop; we only reduce a refund for any diminished value from handling beyond that.
  • Custom, made-to-order, or clearance items are final sale unless defective.

How To Start A Return (RMA Required)

  1. Email team@tacticengineering.com with your order number and reason for return.
  2. We will issue an RMA number and instructions.
  3. Send the item back using a trackable method and share the tracking number.

Costs Deducted From Refunds

Note: These deductions do not apply to EU/EEA/UK consumers exercising the 14-day right of withdrawal — see the Right of Withdrawal above.

  • Actual outbound shipping cost we paid to the carrier (invoice provided).
  • Payment processing fees: non-refundable – Stripe 3.6% / PayPal 3.9% of the order total.
  • Restocking fee: 3% (covers packaging, inspection, and return handling).
  • Any import duties/taxes we incur due to incorrectly marked returns.
  • Return shipping is the customer's responsibility.

Refused/Undeliverable Packages: If you refuse delivery or a parcel is returned as undeliverable, we deduct: actual outbound shipping + carrier return charges + any duties/taxes + payment fees + 3% restocking. (This applies outside the EU/EEA/UK statutory right of withdrawal.)
