We invented magnetic mounts for recovery boards. Long before the copycats arrived — years before anyone else even tried — we were already selling magnetic Max Trax supports to overlanders worldwide.
Our first customer was Sam from Black Adventure Van. Then OWL Vans became our exclusive distributor for the United States. Then retailers across Europe and Australia followed — Burkhart Engineering in Germany, Hobus in Belgium, Dutch Van Parts in the Netherlands, Montpellier 4x4 in France, Van Creed in Australia, Nirvana Outfitters in Canada.
There's a reason the biggest names in the van and off-road industry sell our product and not the copies that showed up four years later: because this is what we do, and we do it from Switzerland.
WHY WE BUILT THIS
We have now sold multiple thousands of the previous iteration of the recovery board supports, but in the last year, I realized — being often off-road — that faster access to our Max Trax would have provided greater peace of mind. This allows us to tackle challenges that we would have otherwise avoided just to skip the hassle of taking the Max Trax off.
Now, this changes everything.

Our magnetic mounts bond directly to steel body panels. Generally speaking, they work with all vehicles that are not made of aluminum — Land Rovers and new Ford Broncos are made of aluminum, so the magnets won't attach to those bodies.

The plastic part of the pins is 3D printed with the most expensive materials at 100 euros per kg. This material is plastic reinforced with carbon fiber, making the pins extremely durable and resistant to heat and impact.
FABRICATION METHOD
Our products are created using advanced 3D printing technology with the highest quality materials available. Due to the nature of this production method, there may be minor imperfections such as visible layers or slight waviness in the material. We carefully separate any items with noticeable defects and only ship those that meet our quality standards. These are not plastic injection molded pieces.
