What goes wrong with generic mounts
Suction cups need a windscreen you can reach and lose grip as the glass heats and cools. Vent clips hang the phone on a louvre that was not designed to carry it and work loose on rough roads. Adhesive pads need a flat, smooth surface and leave residue when they come off. All three are a compromise because they were drawn for no interior in particular.

Remove the ashtray insert. The vehicle-specific base in sintered nylon is shaped to the recess of the BMW E46 (1997-2006) and drops straight in, sitting flush. No tools, no drilling, no adhesive, and nothing touches the trim. On top sits a MagSafe-compatible Qi2 wireless charger, up to 15 W over USB-C. Snap the phone on and drive. The magnetic Qi2 alignment keeps it in place through hard cornering.
A ball joint lets you tilt the phone to the angle you like, and the knurled nut locks it.

Can I adjust the angle?
Yes. The ball joint lets you tilt the phone within its range, and the knurled nut gives more grip when you tighten it to lock the position.
Does it fit my E46?
