THE PROBLEM
The VS30 Sprinter cab has a wide ledge above the sun visors. Factory-built, factory-finished, factory-empty. Nothing goes there. Nothing lives there. It is dead volume in the most expensive square metre of the vehicle.
Meanwhile your sunglasses live in the cup holder. Your headlamp lives in the door pocket. Your notebook lives on the passenger seat. Your maps live somewhere you cannot find them.
Recover the ledge.
THE SOLUTION
A black powder-coated steel shelf that bolts to existing anchor points above the factory visor storage. No drilling. No adhesive. Hardware swaps with factory bolts.
Integrated round curtain rod runs the full width of the windscreen. Brackets attach with nuts and bolts so the rod comes off when you want it off. Threaded bolt ends accept the matching Stealth Blackout Curtain.
Install time: under 30 minutes. Tools needed: three. Marks left on the van: none.

HOW IT INSTALLS
Remove the factory bolts holding the headliner panel above the visors with a T-20 and T-27 Torx bit. Slot the shelf into position. Replace with the supplied hardware using a 5/32 Allen wrench. Slide the curtain rod into the brackets. Bolt the brackets through.
Reversible. Pull the bolts, put the factory bolts back, drive away. The headliner returns to stock.

THE STEALTH BLACKOUT CURTAIN (Optional)
Window covers in the front windows tell every passer-by that someone is sleeping inside. That is how you get a knock at 2am.
The Stealth Blackout Curtain solves the problem at the source. It hangs behind the front seats from the headliner shelf rod, sealing the cab off from the living area. From the outside, the van reads as parked. From the inside, no light escapes.
Heavy-duty diamond rip-stop fabric, tailored to the curves of the VS30 cab. Magnetic edge closures on the sides. Tie closures where magnets cannot reach. Ties back out of the way during the day.
Secondary benefit: thermal barrier. Front cab heats up under summer sun. Curtain keeps that heat out of the living area. In winter, it traps cabin heat in the back where you actually need it.
Two things to know before you order
Floor clearance is intentional. The curtain does not reach the floor. This is by design — it leaves clearance for diesel heater vents under the front seats. Forcing the curtain down to the floor would block the vent and choke the airflow.
Magnets need something magnetic. The side closures hold against bare metal. If your B-pillar trim is plastic or upholstered fabric, the magnets will not grip. Tuck the edge behind trim, or add a steel strip behind the fabric where the curtain meets the pillar. We can advise on the cleanest fix for your build.
