Our magnetic supports let you mount your Max Trax MK2/LITE boards securely even on curved or sloping vehicle surfaces such as roofs or hoods.

Shipping

• Orders placed until Monday 12:00 PM are shipped on Tuesday.
• Orders placed from Monday 12:00 PM to Thursday 12:00 PM are shipped on Friday.

Installation & anti‑theft

• This kit is designed for curved or non‑flat surfaces on your vehicle (upper body, roof, hood/bonnet); use this kit instead of our standard mounts.
• Insert the magnets into your Max Trax board recesses and let them snap into place.
• Use the included transparent stickers on your vehicle to protect paint before mounting the boards.
• An optional anti‑theft cable with marine‑grade lock (sold separately) can be used to secure your boards on exposed surfaces.

Kit contents and specifications

• Four rubberized magnets, each providing 50 kg (110 lbs) of pulling force (total 200 kg / 440 lbs).
• Magnet diameter: 90 mm (3.54 in); product height: 95 mm (3.74 in); weight: 260 g (0.51 lbs) per magnet.
• Includes pins for Max Trax boards and quick‑release pins.
• Designed to support two boards.
• Four transparent protection stickers included.

Build and materials

These supports are engineered in Switzerland and manufactured using carbon‑fiber reinforced plastic through 3D printing. Each part is inspected and tested to withstand high temperatures and heavy loads. Minor surface imperfections may be visible due to the manufacturing process, but they do not affect performance.

Vehicle compatibility

These magnetic supports are designed for steel surfaces. To test compatibility, use a refrigerator magnet on the intended mounting area — if it sticks, your vehicle is compatible. They will not work on aluminum or composite bodies (such as some Land Rover Defenders, Ford F‑​f‍150s, or other vehicles with non‑steel panels). Always ensure magnets are correctly attached before driving.

Warranty and replacement

We guarantee our products against manufacturing defects. Should a component fail or if the magnets lose strength over time, contact us for a replacement. Replacement magnets are available at cost.
