The OWL Ladder + Tire Carrier is the original rear door carrier system that set the standard for Sprinter overland builds. Designed for the Mercedes Sprinter VS30 High Roof platform, it combines a lightweight TIG-welded aluminum ladder with a secure spare tire mounting system that opens with the rear door for everyday usability.

Usability & Design

The Ladder + Tire Carrier was designed from the beginning to be easy to use. Foot pegs extend low below the tire for easier climbing, and the spare tire sits as low as possible, without blocking the license plate, so one person can remove or reinstall the tire without assistance.

A steel support hoop carries the weight of the tire while it is being secured, and the spin-on tire handle allows quick spare tire access in seconds without tools.

Important Notes

• If you wish to mount a box, purchase a Box Mounting Tab separately from the Owl site
• Foot pegs must be screwed all the way down and seated against the ladder to support weight safely
