Drop the leg into the nylon foot. The magnetic base anchors it to the side of your van. No drilling, no stakes, no guy lines. Mounted in seconds.

Anchor the awning. Not the ground.
An awning that is not anchored moves. The legs wander. The fabric flexes in the wind. The ground is the usual answer, and it rarely cooperates — gravel, rock and tarmac do not take a stake. So you fix it to the van. Three ways exist. One without a catch.
Ground stakes
Need soft ground. Gravel, rock and tarmac say no. Slow where you actually park.
Drilled bracket
Holes in the panel. Water in. Rust after. Resale value down. Permanent.
Vacuum mount
Re-pump every 2–3 hours. Worse when the panel is hot. The panel is hot when you want shade.
Tactic magnet

The rule: the magnet needs steel underneath. Most van side panels are steel. Some are not, and a few vans mix the two — steel body, aluminium doors.
Put a fridge magnet on the panel where the foot will sit. If you have to pull to get it off, this mount holds. If it slides or drops, that panel is aluminium and no magnet will work on it.

Which Fiamma awnings does this support fit?
Fiamma F35, F45, F65 and F80. The awning leg drops straight into the nylon foot, with nothing to modify on the awning.
Will it hold on my van?
It holds on steel panels, which covers most vans. It does not hold on aluminium. Mount it on a flat, clean area, because curved or ribbed areas, thick wraps and dirt reduce the hold.
Do I need to drill or use ground stakes?
No. The magnetic base anchors the awning leg to the side of your van, with no drilling, no stakes and no guy lines. It goes on and comes off in seconds.
How strong is the magnet?
Each magnet gives 56 kg of vertical pull on standard steel and 17 kg of lateral hold. The magnets are marine-grade neodymium, fully encapsulated.
What is in the box?
A pair: two magnetic feet, one encapsulated magnet per foot, with UV-stable nylon feet and stainless steel hardware.
What about shipping and warranty?

These magnetic awning leg mounts are so good ! I still have to do a few trips to test them long term, but so far so good. With my van build the area where I would normally bolt on the awning leg mounts were not ideal and I could not get behind the van wall to reinforce the any bolt. As well where I was able to put the awning leg mounts was not even both sides, so a permanent mount would look odd. The magnetic mounts let me choose an exact place for each awning leg that I would not easily have bolted a mount. They are super strong !

Absolutely fantastic product. Loved the easy and straightforward installation. Just clean the surface of your van, measure and attach. Legs of Fiamma awning fit snug and even with a moderate breeze, the magnets did not move at all. Took around 3 weeks for delivery to Australia, but this was during the Christmas season. I had to laugh during the installation process, as I accidentally put the magnet on the ground down and our iron rich soil and little pebbles immediately attached to it 😂. Ho acquistato i supporti magnetici per il tendalino fiamma, davvero un ottimo prodotto, ero indeciso se montare i supporti originali o prendere questi, il pensiero di bucare la carrozzeria però non mi convinceva, alla fine ho optato per questi, davvero un ottima scelta, una volta attaccati e inseriti i piedi del tendalino il gioco é fatto. Il tendalino non si muove per niente, i piedini non hanno giochi e quindi non sbattono o fanno rumore, li ho provati in una giornata abbastanza ventosa, non hanno avuto problemi. Noi di parto_incamper consigliamo sicuramente questo prodotto
