Magnetic Towel Hook
A hook strong enough for a soaking wet towel. It grips the steel panel of your van. Hang the towel, walk away, come back. It is still there.
Use it for: Hang a soaking wet towel on the side of the van after an outdoor shower, instead of over the mirror or on the ground.

A wet towel is heavy and it pulls straight down. That is lateral load, and it is what makes most stick-on hooks let go. This one carries 17 kg of it.

Ten-second test: put a fridge magnet where the mount will sit. If you have to pull to get it off, this mount holds there.
FAQ
How much weight does it hold?
The magnet gives 56 kg of pulling force and 17 kg of lateral pull. A wet towel pulls sideways along the panel, and that is the 17 kg figure.
Will it scratch my paint?
The magnet is rubber-coated, so there is soft rubber between the magnet and your paint. Clean the spot before placing it.
Do I need tools or drilling?
No. Place it on a steel panel and go. It comes off with no tools and leaves no mark.
How big is it?
145 × 84 × 30 mm. Compact enough to leave on the van year-round.
What goes with it?
