Swapping it onto your existing supports

Before you start

The chrome cylinder on your current supports is tightened with Loctite, so it can be hard to unscrew. Take your time and do this properly, so you do not hurt yourself or damage the parts.

1. Remove the magnetic supports from the Max Trax recovery boards.
2. With the magnets, chrome cylinder and black spacer in hand — plastic top screw not installed — put some tape, duct tape works, on the upper part of the cylinders.
3. Hold the magnet with one hand. With the other, apply pressure on the taped section with a clamp and unscrew it.

Do not do this

Do not use the plastic spacer to untighten the chrome cylinder. You will damage it.
