Build your own mount on our magnet.
These are the exact magnets used in our full line of products. Screw one into a bracket, a plate or a fitting of your own and you have a mount that comes off without leaving a mark. The displayed price is for one magnet. Sold as 1, 2 or 4.
56 kg direct, 16 kg lateral
Per magnet, on standard steel. Direct pull is the strong axis; lateral is 16 kg (35 lbs).
M8 male thread, 15 mm
Screws into your own bracket, plate or fitting. Stainless steel.
Rubber coating
Greatly prevents scratches on the surface you attach it to.
1, 2 or 4
The 4-pack lowers the cost per magnet. The 2-pack is twice the single — order it for convenience, not for a discount.
Do not attach two magnets together to test their strength. You will not have a fun time trying to separate them.
Specifications
Why stainless steel matters
Most magnets on the market use zinc-coated threads. They look fine at first. Leave them outside for a season and the coating degrades — rust, then flaking. Our stainless steel threads hold up year after year, whatever the conditions.
Will it hold on your vehicle?
The rule: the magnet needs steel underneath. Most vehicle panels are steel. Some are not.
