A rubber-coated neodymium magnet with a stainless steel ring on top. Clip a carabiner to it, thread a strap through it, tie a cord to it. Nothing to screw, nothing to drill.

This is the same magnet we use across our product line, with a ring instead of a thread. The threaded version needs a bracket before it does anything. This one does not. Place it on a steel surface and attach.

What the ring is for

Run a ratchet strap through it to hold gear against a van wall.
Clip a carabiner to it and hang a bag, a jacket, or a water container.
Tie an awning guy line to the side of the vehicle.
Lash a load down on any steel panel, then move the anchor point when the load changes.
