Magnetic Stand — Starlink Gen.2
Trusted by the industry

Magnetic Stand — Starlink Gen.2
Four rubberised magnets and a bracket cut for the Gen.2 dish. It holds the antenna on the roof of a parked van when the wind picks up.
Wind moves an antenna. This stops it.
A Gen.2 dish standing free on a van roof has nothing holding it down. Four rubberised magnets, 10 kg of pull each, secure it to the roof while you are parked. The bracket between them is 3D printed in an industrial filament, UV and impact resistant, custom-made for the Starlink V2 antenna.
This set is meant for a van that is parked. Do not drive with the antenna mounted on it. If you need a mount that holds on the road, use the Gen.2 curved-surface mounts, which hold the antenna stand while moving.
Tactic Engineering designed the first magnetic mounts for camper vans.
December 2021. Every part is designed and manufactured in Switzerland. Here is how this stand compares to what else you can buy.
Drilled bracket
Decades-old generic hardware, often made in Asia. Typically one year of warranty, and holes in your roof for good.
Magnetic look-alike
A recent copy of our design, often made in Asia. Warranty variable, pull force usually unspecified.
Tactic magnet
Our design, December 2021. Thousands of vans worldwide since. Two years of warranty, worldwide.
Nothing to modify
The magnets set down on the roof and lift off again. No drilling, no adhesive, no marks.
Fits the Gen.2 dish. Parked.
The bracket is custom-made for the Starlink V2 antenna. The Gen.3 antenna and the Starlink Mini are different shapes and take different mounts.
Fits
Does not fit
Gen.2 on a bonnet or non-flat panel, holding on the road: Magnetic Mounts — Starlink Gen.2 (Curved Surfaces). Gen.3 antenna: Magnetic Supports — Starlink Gen.3. Starlink Mini: Magnetic Supports — Starlink Mini.
