Why we built this

We have sold multiple thousands of the previous recovery board supports. A year of off-road use made one thing clear: faster access to the boards is worth more than anything else on the rack. Lines we would have skipped, we now take — because getting the MaxTrax off is no longer a job.

Tactic Engineering designed the first magnetic mounts for camper vans, in December 2021. Every part is designed and manufactured in Switzerland, hand-assembled in-house. Tool-free installation in under a minute.

Tactic Engineering invented the magnetic vehicle mount. Designed and prototyped in Switzerland, stress-tested on the road, first units shipped in December 2021. Every magnetic mount on the market today came after ours.

The biggest names in the van and off-road industry sell our product, not the copies that showed up four years later. Because this is what we do, and we do it from Switzerland.
